Fennel Seed & Fenugreek Brew

The tea that began everything. Drunk slowly before the world asks anything of you — a daily ritual of gentle beginning.

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds, lightly crushed
  • ½ tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 500ml filtered water
  • Raw honey to taste
  • A few drops of lemon (optional)
Preparation
  1. Lightly crush seeds with a spoon or mortar to release their oils.
  2. Heat water to just below boiling — around 90°C.
  3. Add seeds and steep uncovered for 10 minutes.
  4. Strain through a fine cloth or sieve.
  5. Add honey after straining. Drink warm, before eating.
Let the first thing you put into your body each morning be intentional.

  • 1 medium beetroot, peeled and chopped
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 6 Medjool dates, pitted

Preparation
  1. Lightly steam beetroot for easier digestion, or use raw for maximum nutrients.
  2. Add liquid to blender first, then soft items, beetroot last.
  3. Blend on high for 60–90 seconds until completely smooth.
  4. Add a squeeze of lemon to brighten and increase iron absorption.
  5. Drink within 20 minutes of blending.

Chamomile, Mint & Honey Tea

The day asks everything of us. This tea asks nothing. It simply holds the space between what has been and what will come.

Ingredients
  • 2 tsp dried chamomile flowers (or 1 tea bag)
  • 4–5 fresh peppermint leaves (or ½ tsp dried)
  • 350ml just-boiled water
  • 1 tsp raw honey
  • Optional: a thin slice of fresh ginger
Preparation
  1. Place chamomile and mint in a cup. Add ginger if using.
  2. Pour water just off the boil — not at a full rolling boil.
  3. Cover and steep for 7 minutes to keep volatile oils in.
  4. Strain. Add honey only after straining.
  5. Hold the cup with both hands. Drink 30 minutes before bed.
Chamomile doesn’t force sleep. It simply creates the conditions for it — and that is enough.
